Time Strategies for Year 2

A cartoon indicating how to manage time |
Time, Time, Time. 24 hours a day. 8, 760 hours a year. Time manage is extremely important in everyday. It helps us get the most out of everyday and live it to the fullest. The only problem is its hard to manage. This is mainly because of our terrible friend "Procrastination". He always helps persuade us to put things off and have no reasoning for doing so.
I like to believe I manage time pretty well. In particular for this class. I accidentally finished all the twitter tasks up to Week 7 accidentally. But looking back they didn't take up much time so I'm planning on doing a good few every week so I can be ahead which will help me in the long run and later on in the year.
I would hope to be able to continue strategies like that in all classes over the semester. I believe a planner can help me with this, especially for the assignments.
I recently read an article called "How to beat Procrastination" by Caroline Webb. This is an article that talks about why give in to procrastination instead of questioning it. And when she is talking about this, the it she is referring to is you. Always question why you decided to procrastinate.
I also read an article titled "The Habit of Just Starting" by Jory Mackay. This article talked about how you start the work instead of procrastinating and worrying before you even attempt or start the work. This is because we are all guilty of doing this.
These articles were helpful because they were a real eye opener. They showed me that all that come from the bad energy of procrastination is stress, and a lot of it.
Based on the classes last year I think the biggest challenge will be not to relax if I get good grades. This is because semester 1 and semester 2 are not the same. At the moment I have remained calm and collective and have not allowed my ego to get the better of me.
