The Car Storm Prototype

A screenshot of me working on my game.

Now this week, the challenge I had to overcome was creating the prototype. This meant I had to make my plan into a real 3d product. I had to do this using the skills I used in Unity and the assets I downloaded and imported these assets from the Unity website in the asset store.

This wasn't too bad because from my previous research and previous documents I made about the game made it a lot easier to develop. This is because these documents were very descriptive.

So firstly, all the assets were free which was extremely handy. I wouldn't have to pay for an asset. This is risk free because what if the asset didn't have what I wanted and didn't work. So I just added in different assets like: mountains, roads, player, clouds, rusty vehicles. These were all imported previously.

The harder is the same challenge I had during the Unity tutorials. This was the coding in Visual Studio. This was because even though we have been doing coding for developing a game, I still struggled with it. This is because I wasn't used to it. Hopefully this will get a lot better as the weeks go on.

Although a lot of things were working, some also were not. This meant I had to change a small aspect about my game. The aspect I had to change was now instead of a biker its now a car. This is because the biker asset I downloaded didn't work.
