Reading 10

Hands typing on a laptop.

This week I did a lot of work on my writing. This included correcting, re-writing and finalising the entire document for the project book.

So the first thing I did was re-writing the document. This included analysing the comments and feedback people had left on my work over the week. So then I had to take that feedback on board and see what I could do to improve my writing. I had to do whatever I could that would correct the errors that people had outlined in their comments. This wasn't too bad because they had basically told me what I had to do to correct the errors.

Next, I had to finish the extra part of the document. These included: The bibliography, check your understanding & about the author.

The Bibliography:

For this section, I had to find the articles where I sourced information and images from. To do this I had to make citations in word on Harvard referencing style. This was hard because I didn't know how to do this. So we spent 10 minutes learning how to do this. Doing this on "Word" was very helpful because it looks professional, neat and it also put them in alphabetical order which was a requirement.

Check Your Understanding:

This section was actually created for the readers. It was like a mini quiz to check if the writing was good enough that they actually could understand it and learned from it. This could have been done by placing fill-in-the-blanks. Instead of doing that I just wrote out a few questions for them to answer after reading my document.

About the Author:

This section was about me because I was the author. This was easy because it was a few lines about yourself and I know myself very well.
